The workshop will help participants understand what information should be included in a teaching portfolio, how to gather and organize this material, how to best present it, and how to show growth and improvement in your teaching. Examples of portfolios will be available for examination, and personal assistance on individual portfolios will be offered.
The workshop is geared toward untenured faculty members, those nominated for a teaching excellence award, or educators who simply want to document their work. It is held in the Johnson Center Assembly Room G. RSVP to the Center for Teaching Excellence at x38652 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
