The Century Council’s Blood Alcohol Educator (BAE) van is on the Johnson Center North Plaza today from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.. The user-friendly vehicle converts into an interactive cyber-cafe that allows visitors to use a CD-ROM, available in English or Spanish, to estimate their blood alcohol concentration (BAC) levels based on weight, sex, and the type and number of drinks consumed at the BAE CD-ROM’s virtual bar. The CD-ROM also includes a virtual clock that demonstrates how long it will take for an individual’s BAC level to return to .00.
Each participant will receive a free gift. To use the BAE online or to find out the Blood Alcohol Educator tour schedule, visit www.b4udrink.org.
