Lobbyist Glen Pond to Discuss Salary Issues

At sessions on all of George Mason’s campuses, Glen Pond, a lobbyist for the Virginia Governmental Employees Association, addresses the effects of the budget impasse, the status of salary increases since the budget impasse, upcoming legislative initiatives, and the gubernatorial candidates’ stand on staff issues. Each session will be followed by a question and answer period.
The first session is tomorrow on the Arlington Campus in the Original Building, Room 244, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The other sessions are on Friday, Oct. 26, in SUB II, Rooms 5, 6, and, 7 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. on the Fairfax Campus, and on the Prince William Campus in the Verizon Auditorium from 1:30 to 3 p.m.
