Sophomore forward Charlie Snee has been selected as the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) men’s soccer Player of the Week for the week ending Oct. 14.

Snee also was named Player of the Week by the CAA on Sept. 10 after scoring two goals against then-20th-ranked Northeastern.

Snee was rewarded this time for helping to lead George Mason (5-6 overall, 1-1 in the CAA) to a pair of victories on the road last week as he scored two goals, one in each contest. Snee scored the only goal of the game in a 1-0 victory at Maryland on Oct. 10, helping the Patriots break a four-game losing streak against the Terrapins. He then scored the first goal against the University of North Carolina-Wilmington on Oct. 13 as the Patriots extended their winning streak to three games with a 2-1 victory in overtime.

Snee leads the Patriots with four goals and nine points during the season. He is tied for seventh in the CAA with 1.0 points per game and is ninth with 0.44 goals per game.
