Provost Outlines Future of Arlington Campus

Provost Peter Stearns presents the university’s vision for the Arlington Campus as part of the new Plan 2007 on Wednesday, Oct. 24, at a reception and presentation hosted by the Joint Arlington/GMU Advisory Board and Friends of GMU.

In addition to Stearns’ presentation, “The Mission and Vision for the George Mason University Arlington Campus: Current Academic Program and the 2001-2007 Plan,” remarks will be made by John Milliken, chair of the Arlington/GMU Joint Advisory Board; Thomas Hennessey, chief of staff to the president; Jay Fisette, chair of the Arlington County Board; and a representative of the Arlington Campus student body.

The reception, at 6 p.m., and the presentation, at 7 p.m., are held in the Arlington I Atrium and are open to the university community. If you plan to attend, RSVP to Events Management at x32088.
