Poet J.P. White continues the Visiting Writers Series tomorrow at 8 p.m., in the Concert Hall’s Grand Tier III. In his most recent collection, The Salt Hour: Poems, White takes the reader on a journey across the world in a lyric narrative, exploring man’s physical, mental, and spiritual connection with nature’s bodies of water. His previous poetry collections include In Pursuit of Wings and The Pomegranate Tree Speaks from the Dictator’s Garden. White’s work has appeared in Boulevard, the New Republic, North American Review, Sewanee Review, and other journals.
