Music Department Presents Piano Recital

The Music Department presents the Jean Carrington Cook Piano Scholarship Recital Sunday at 3 p.m. in Harris Theater. The event, in memory of Cook, features Cook Piano Scholarship recipients Christine Brown, Jonathan Lewis, Ina Mirtcheva, and Mei-Chung Wang, along with distinguished George Mason pianists Linda Apple Monson and James Nalley.
The group will perform works by Chopin, Debussy, and Finney. Michael Deak will perform the world premiere of Memories from Childhood.
A reception immediately follows in the Johnson Center second floor West Lounge.
Tickets are on sale now at the Concert Hall Box Office, and will be available at the Harris Theater Box Office on the day of the concert. All proceeds benefit the Jean Carrington Cook Endowed Piano Scholarship Fund.
