Blind Mountain Climber Speaks on Fairfax Campus Today

Hudson Trail Outfitters and the College of Arts and Sciences present “Touch the Top of the World: A Blind Man’s Journey to Climb Farther than the Eye Can See,” a talk by mountain climber and adventurer Erik Weihenmayer. Weihenmayer is a world class athlete: acrobatic skydiver, long distance biker, skier, mountaineer, and ice and rock climber. The free event, part of the Fall for the Book festival, begins tonight at 8 p.m. in Harris Theater.
Join Erik as he relates stories and pictures of his ascents of the world’s tallest mountains and other exciting adventures and recalls stories from his book, Touch the Top of the World: A Blind Man’s Journey to Climb Farther Than the Eye Can See.
