Keith Segerson, formerly executive director of University Computing and Information Systems, moved across campus on Aug. 1 into a new position as senior director of information technology for the School of Information Technology and Engineering (IT&E). His office is room 133 in Science and Technology II, and his phone extension is x33400.
Segerson will be assessing and working to improve overall computing systems and support for IT&E as well as serving as liaison to the university’s central IT organization. Segerson says, “It’s a big change for me, and I’m very excited about the opportunity to work closely with such a dynamic group of faculty and students.”
“I am very pleased that Keith has agreed to provide our school with technical advice and recommendations in the area of computing systems support. His wide-ranging experience and excellent knowledge regarding the many complex issues in this area will be invaluable to us,” says Lloyd Griffiths, dean of IT&E.
