- Aug. 15– Rich Miller, Health, Fitness, and Recreation Resources, presented “Stress Management” for the Arlington National Cemetery Employees.
- Aug. 17– Anita Taylor, Communication, presented “Better Listeners are Better Communicators” for the National Center for Nonprofit Boards.
- Aug. 17– Marion Deshmukh, History and Art History, presented “History Today: New Approaches in an Increasingly Complex World” for the Aurora Hills Senior Center.
- Aug. 21– Randy Lytton, History and Art History, presented “Historic Fairfax” for the Heatherwood Retirement Community.
