George Mason and the University of Aalborg in Denmark announce a series of workshops on supply chain planning and product configuration, sponsored by the Department of Production at Aalborg University and the Enterprise Engineering Laboratory in the School of Public Policy.

The first workshop, held today and tomorrow at Oracle Corp. in Copenhagen, Denmark, focuses on two issues: planning and information exchange in the supply chain and the perspectives of product configuration in a mass customization environment. The purpose of the session is to allow researchers and consultants to present their current projects and the status of current IT solutions as a means for discussing the challenges in research and industry. A follow-up workshop will be held in Fairfax in late October.

For more information about the workshops, contact Thomas Gulledge, School of Public Policy, at gulledge@gmu.edu, or visit the conference web site.
