Emami Is New General Manager of Dining Services

Mohsen “Moh” Emami, the new general manager of dining services, has more than 20 years of experience in the dining industry for large corporations, and four years of business experience with small restaurants. Before coming to George Mason, Emami had a successful 14-year career with Eurest Dining Services, where he handled all dining and catering services for Capital One in Richmond.

Emami’s responsibilities include overseeing all food service operations at George Mason, including Campus Crossroads (formerly Ciao Hall), the Johnson Center Food Court, the student unions, and the Sodexho Marriott catering service.

Emami is excited about being a member of the Mason community because “you can do all kinds of different things for the mixing bowl of nationalities that are here,” he says. “I want to introduce George Mason to new cultures through food and create excellent menus.” Emami plans to institute a changing menu every three to six months “to keep people on their toes and coming back for more.”
