Teresa Domzal is stepping down as dean of the School of Management, effective June 30.
“Dean Domzal has led the School of Management through significant changes and improvements over the past four years,” says Provost Peter Stearns. “She has overseen a dramatic restructuring and a very promising curriculum revision. During her tenure also, the school has developed its executive MBA and fast track MBA programs, has added to faculty strength in the technology management area, and has designed a distinctive management minor for undergraduates.”
Stearns also praised Domzal on the service she has given the university “in wider functions.” Most recently, she led a successful search for a new director for the Institute for Conflict Analysis and Resolution.
Domzal, who came to George Mason in 1981, will return to the School of Management faculty following a period of administrative leave.
