With Commencement over and students on summer break, some might think the George Mason campuses would slow down to a leisurely pace. But that won’t be the case this summer with hundreds of kids from kindergarten age to 18 attending 57 camps and programs on and around the George Mason campuses.

Children and their parents can choose from recreational camps, sport camps, enrichment programs, and academic assistance programs. Camps include Camp Mason at the Fairfax Campus, several adventure and discovery camps at Hemlock Overlook, as well as camps at the Prince William Campus Freedom Aquatic and Fitness Center.

There are sports camps planned for baseball, basketball, cheerleading, lacrosse, soccer, softball, track and field, volleyball, wrestling, and swimming. Enrichment programs for the arts and sciences are offered, including programs to learn about computers, creative writing, cooking, drama, mathematics, public speaking, policy debate, and radio production.

For a complete listing of camps and programs, visit the summer camps web site or call Information Services at x31005.
