Patriot Club Celebrates 25th Anniversary

George Mason University celebrates the 25th Anniversary of the Patriot Club by hosting a Silver Anniversary Gala at the Sheraton Premiere in Tysons Corner on Friday, May 4, at 7 p.m..
The all-star honorary committee includes President Alan Merten, co-chair sponsors Abe and Irene Pollin and Alan Meltzer, Randolph and Lucy Church, Larry Doll, Julie Holdren, Tim Hugo, Susie Kay, Paul and Connie Kyle, Ted Leonsis, Steve Sheetz, and William and Susan Soza.
The Patriot Club is a component of both the Athletic Department and the George Mason University Foundation. Charged with enhancing the visibility of George Mason athletics, the Patriot Club engages individuals and businesses in the university’s National Collegiate Athletic Association Division I athletic programs, and solicits donations for the Student Athlete Scholarship Fund. The Patriot Club consists of local area businessmen and women, George Mason faculty and staff members, alumni, and friends of Intercollegiate Athletics.
The night’s events include a silent auction, live entertainment and dancing, and networking opportunities.
