Wilson Center Scholar to Speak on Fairfax Campus

Horst Schmidt-Ohlendorff, scholar in residence at the Wilson Center in Washington, D.C., speaks on the “Practical Experience in Translation and Interpretation in the European Union” tonight at 7:30 p.m. in Thompson Hall, Room 227. Schmidt-Ohlendorff has served as an official in the Secretariat of the Council of Ministers in Brussels, and has been on the faculty of the Institute of European Studies at the Free University of Brussels since 1978.
The presentation, which is sponsored by the Department of Modern and Classical Languages, the International Commerce and Policy program, and the School of Public Policy, will be in French.
