On April 25, the Text in Community 2001 program presents “Speaking Out: Testimonial Literature in Critical Perspective-a Panel Discussion on I, Rigoberta Menchú.” The discussion features panelists Roger Lancaster, associate professor of anthropology at George Mason; William Mitchell, professor of anthropology at Monmouth University; and David Stoll, professor of anthropology at Middlebury College. Linda Seligmann, associate professor of anthropology at George Mason, acts as moderator.
