Text in Community 2001 Features Discussion on Testimonial Literature

On April 25, the Text in Community 2001 program presents “Speaking Out: Testimonial Literature in Critical Perspective-a Panel Discussion on I, Rigoberta MenchĂș.” The discussion features panelists Roger Lancaster, associate professor of anthropology at George Mason; William Mitchell, professor of anthropology at Monmouth University; and David Stoll, professor of anthropology at Middlebury College. Linda Seligmann, associate professor of anthropology at George Mason, acts as moderator. Sponsored by the departments of English and Modern and Classical Languages and New Century College, the discussion begins at 3 p.m. in the Back Ballroom of SUB II.
