Harris Theater Hosts Two Musical Performances

The George Mason Jazz Ensemble and Jazz Chamber Ensemble take center stage for a concert tonight in Harris Theater at 8 p.m. James Carroll directs the concert and the group will perform works by Duke Ellington, John Coltrane, and Rodgers and Hammerstein. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students. Fifty free tickets are available for George Mason students.

Tomorrow, a faculty recital also takes place at 8 p.m. in Harris Theater. Peter Haase, National Symphony Orchestra violinist, and guests perform The American Quartet, Dvorak, Trio in B Major, Op. 8, Brahms; Trout Quintet, Schuber. The event is free and open to the public.
