Writers Series Brings Dybek to Fairfax Campus

As part of the spring 2001 Visiting Writers Series, short story writer Stuart Dybek reads from his work tonight at 8 p.m. in the Johnson Center Cinema. Dybek has published two story collections, Childhood and Other Neighborhoods: Stories and The Coast of Chicago, as well as a volume of poetry, Brass Knuckles. His work has appeared in such magazines as The Atlantic Monthly, The Iowa Review, Antaeus, and Ploughshares, and in 1984, he won the Whiting Writers Award. Dybek currently teaches at Western Michigan University.
