The Office of Housing and Residence Life sponsors the third annual Academic Achievement Banquet tonight at 6:30 p.m. in the Concert Hall atrium. This year’s theme, “2001: An Academic Odyssey,” honors students living on campus who earned at least a 3.75 grade point average during either the spring or fall 2000 semesters.
Banquet speakers include President Alan Merten, vice president of University Life Karen Rosenblum, and keynote speaker provost Peter Stearns. Housing and Residence Life started the banquet as part of the department’s overall commitment to creating an active learning community in the residence halls.
