On Wednesday, Feb. 21, and Thursday, Feb. 22, University Career Services, the College of Arts and Sciences, and New Century College are sponsoring an internship fair to give students a chance to meet with employers for career advice, as well as internship, co-op, and summer job opportunities. Students are invited to meet with employers from business, science, and technology organizations on Feb. 21, and employers from communications, community affairs, and non-profit organizations on Feb. 22. The fair is held in the Johnson Center Multipurpose Room from 1:30 to 4 p.m. both days.
Students are also invited to attend workshops, including “How to Make the Internship Fair Work for You,” designed for students with F-1 and J-1 visas, today at 1:30 p.m., or tomorrow at 3 p.m. The one-hour session will be held in the Johnson Center Assembly Room G. Tomorrow, students are also invited to attend “Get the Most From Your Career-related Experience,” a workshop focusing on how to use the internship, co-op, or experiential learning experience to enhance knowledge and support academic and career goals. The workshop is held at noon for students interested in meeting with communications, community affairs, and non-profit organizations, and at 1:30 p.m. for students interested in meeting with business, science, and technology organizations. Both sessions are held in the Johnson Center, Room 116. Registration is not required for the workshops.
