The individual 30-minute consultations are held at the Virginia Employment Commission (VEC) on Lee Jackson Highway from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. EDR also holds consultations in the Winchester area on Wednesday, Feb. 21, at VEC’s location on Premier Place from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Appointments are filled on a first come, first served basis.
EDR, formerly known as the Department of Employee Relations Counselors, holds outreach counseling sessions at various locations to promote the prevention and resolution of employment disputes within agencies of the commonwealth. Issues concerning supervisory or co-worker conflict, human resource policies, performance, pay issues, equal employment practices, mediation, or the grievance procedure can be discussed with an experienced consultant.
