Daniele Struppa, dean of the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), is seeking freshmen, sophomores, and juniors to advise him on key issues that affect undergraduate students in CAS. These students will serve on an advisory board to provide input to his administration.
“This is a great way for me to get student input on a variety of pressing issues,” says Struppa. “This board will be the group I turn to first for the student perspective.”
Students interested in joining the advisory board must be majoring or planning to major in a CAS discipline and have at least a 2.8 grade point average. Advisory board meetings will take place during the spring semester on Feb. 28, March 14, and April 27, from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m.
Students must submit an application to be eligible for the board. Applications are available in College Hall, Room C100, and are due by Feb. 2, at 5 p.m.
