Who wants to be a millionaire? George Mason student Kha Vo, that’s who. She appears on the popular TV game show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire tonight at 8 on ABC.
The show is holding a special college edition that began on Tuesday and ends today. Vo auditioned at L’Enfant Plaza in Washington, D.C., one of five locations nationwide hosting a search for contestants. Producers of the show accepted the first 125 people in line-Vo was number 40.
Each potential contestant completed a written test with 30 questions, similar to the “fastest finger” questions at the beginning of each round. She then had a 10-minute interview with the producers, which clinched her spot on the show. Vo was one of 30 contestants selected out of more than 2,500 who auditioned.
Vo, a government major, taped the show in early November.
