Three students in the Institute for Conflict Analysis and Resolution (ICAR) share their experience as interns for the National Mediation Board today as part of ICAR’s brown bag lecture series. The National Mediation Board is responsible for dispute resolution in the U.S. airline and rail industries.
The speakers are ICAR master’s alumnus Rachel Barbour, a program officer at the National Multicultural Institute, and ICAR master’s students Dawn Gresham, who is writing a thesis on conflict resolution training, and Suman Kapur, a case manager for alternative dispute resolution. Stephen Crable, the National Mediation Board’s chief of staff, and Daniel Rainey, co-owner and president of Holistic Solution, Inc., will also speak.
The lecture takes place from noon to 1:30 p.m. in ICAR’s main conference room, A401, which is located at 4260 Chain Bridge Road in the City of Fairfax.
