Randolph Lytton, History and Art History, is the guest speaker at the next Old Town Hall lecture on Wednesday, Nov. 15, at 7:30 p.m. He presents “A New Look at Old Town Fairfax.”

Through slides of present-day historic sites, and postcard views of an earlier Fairfax, Lytton will talk about the history of Fairfax, the preservation of the historic district, and the challenges that face historic Fairfax in the new millennium. This topic is especially appropriate for the year 2000 when celebrations are held for the 200th anniversary of the Old Court House and the 100th anniversary of Old Town Hall.

The lecture is held on the second floor of Old Town Hall, at the corner of University Drive and Main Street in the City of Fairfax. It is free and open to the public. Refreshments are provided. Free parking is available in the lot on the corner of University Drive and North Street. For more information, call x38846.
