The Pizza & Perspectives program, run by University Life at the Arlington Campus, recently won an award from the national association for student affairs administrators in higher education, NASPA.

The program won the Silver Award for the 2012 NASPA Excellence Awards in the Off-Campus, Commuter, Nontraditional, Graduate, Professional and Related Category.

The Pizza & Perspectives program, a monthly series of academic discussions for members of the Arlington Campus community, is designed to bring faculty, students, alumni and community members together for meaningful and rational dialogue on relevant topics.

The award submission spoke to the program’s success in fostering campus unity, promoting interesting and meaningful dialogue among its target audiences and engaging the graduate and professional student population of the Arlington Campus.

The entry will be included in a collection of selected award entries on NASPA’s website.
