American Festival Pops Orchestra to Perform Holiday Concert

The Center for the Arts will welcome the American Festival Pops Orchestra to perform a spirited holiday concert on Friday, Dec. 9, at 8 p.m. under the baton of its founder and conductor, Anthony Maiello, who is also a professor in the School of Music.

Titled “Holiday Pops,” this concert features Christmas carols and holiday tunes such as Irving Berlin’s “White Christmas,” Leroy Anderson’s “Sleigh Ride,” “The Holly and the Ivy,” “The Christmas Song” and “O Holy Night.” Maiello will also lead a jubilant holiday sing-along.
