Stuck with an unpaid parking ticket from Mason? Well, in the spirit of the holidays, Parking Services is offering people a break on their fines by participating in either the Toys for Tots toy drive or the Parking Services Food Drive.

Participants can bring in either a new unwrapped toy or nonperishable food items to the Parking Services and have the donation credited toward their citation. Accounts will be credited based on the following scale:

1 toy – $10

2 toys – $20

5 cans or boxes of food – $10

10 cans or boxes of food – $20

Individuals can receive up to $20 off each individual citation, on a maximum of three citations. Don’t have a parking ticket, but still want to help? Participants can also receive credit toward a permit upgrade to Lot J or a parking deck permit.

Donations are being accepted at Parking Services offices on all three campuses. The final day to donate is as follows:

Arlington Campus: Dec. 13

Fairfax Campus: Dec. 14

Prince William Campus: Dec. 15
