Mason Alumnus Appointed to BOV

Gov. Bob McDonnell recently announced the appointment of Steven P. Mullins, BA Government and Politics ’90, to Mason’s Board of Visitors (BOV). Mullins fills the seat vacated by R. Carter Pate.
As president and chief financial officer (CFO) for SPM Consulting, Mullins is currently serving as a CFO to the following companies: Intelliworks Inc.; Americans for Prosperity and Americans for Prosperity Foundation; KZO Innovations; Secure Command; and Rollstream Inc.
Mullins also works with individual companies on specific projects, such as mergers and acquisitions, capital raises and 409(a) valuation analysis.
Previous positions Mullins has held include CFO for Q-Mobile Inc.; CFO and chief operating officer for Secure Elements Inc.; CFO for ReturnBuy Inc.; and CFO, vice president, treasurer and assistant secretary for InteliData Technologies Corp.
Mullins has also served on the boards of Secure Elements Inc.; Northern Virginia Technology Council Political Action Committee; Northern Virginia Family Services Capital Campaign Committee; and Liquid Marketing & Insight. Mullins was also a member of the governor’s Transition Committee for technology policy when McDonnell was governor-elect.
