Mason has a new web site that answers questions about the university’s IT resources. Information Technology Resources and Services at George Mason breaks down these resources into four sections: academic experience; administrative experience; social experience; and requirements, services, and cost.

“With technology becoming a more important part of everyday life, more students are asking questions about the technology resources and services available at the institutions they plan to attend,” says Anne Scrivener Agee, executive director of the Division of Instructional Improvement and Instructional Technologies. The university’s new online guide is designed to make finding the answers to these questions easy.

The IT guide is based on the “EDUCAUSE Guide to Evaluating Information Technology on Campus.” EDUCAUSE is an international nonprofit association that focuses on the use of information resources and technology in higher education.
