Mason will get its first crack at beating the Drexel Dragons during the 2011 CAA Blood Challenge on Monday, Nov. 14.

To top the Dragons’ 2010 record, Mason has set a goal of collecting more than 1,000 units of blood.

The drive is being held in cooperation with Inova Blood Services at the Johnson Center Dewberry Hall on the Fairfax Campus. Hours are 9:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Donors will receive an “Are you my type?” T-shirt and a bobblehead of the Patriot mascot. From 3 to 7 p.m., Lavar and Dukes from 106.7 The Fan will broadcast their radio show live from the campus to help promote the blood drive.

Call 866-BLOODSAVES (866-256-6372) to make your appointment or schedule online. See GoMason.com for more information.
