Dance Discussion Precedes Performance

Mark Morris, of the Mark Morris Dance Group, and other dance enthusiasts participate in a panel discussion today from 2:30 to 4 p.m. in TheaterSpace. The discussion revolves around music in dance, creating dances, dance companies, and the future of dance.
Moderated by D.C. dance writer and critic George Jackson, panelists include Suzanne Carbonneau, dancer writer and teacher; Dan Joyce, George Mason faculty member and former dancer in the Mark Morris Company; Liz Lerman, choreographer and founder of the Liz Lerman Dance Company; and Jane Hamilton, dance lover and author of the dance-inspired novel A Brief History of a Prince and The Book of Ruth.
