The Sustainable Living Roadshow, a caravan of educators and entertainers who tour the country in a fleet of renewable fuel vehicles, will be on the Fairfax Campus’s Quad on Wednesday, Oct. 19, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The roadshow sets up eco-carnivals with interactive learning villages to educate people on how to live sustainably. Highlights include a Green Market; a solar-powered Workshop Stage; a hands-on demonstration of solutions called the Solutionary Showcase; a Health and Healing showcase; and the Earth Peace Mandala, a participatory art exhibit about global and environmental issues.

The event is free, and food and prizes will be available.

The roadshow is sponsored by Mason’s Office of Sustainability. Read more about it here.
