The Department of Modern and Classical Languages sponsors a lecture today by Bernard Werber, renowned author of Les fourmis. The event, which is free and open to the public, is held from 3:30 to 5 p.m. in the Johnson Center, Assembly Room E.
Werber will read a selection of his works in French, and books are for sale after the reading. An autograph signing session follows. Werber has written many critically- acclaimed novels, the most famous of which–Les fourmis–sold more than six million copies and has since been translated into numerous languages.
The event is cosponsored by the Alliance Francaise of Washington. For more information, contact Janine Ricouart at x31593 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
