Washington Post Writer to Speak Sept. 25 at Krasnow

The next lecture in the fall seminar series of the Krasnow Institute for Advanced Study is set for Monday, Sept. 25, at 4 p.m. Noted writer Joel Aschenbach of the Washington Post is the guest speaker. He will present “Aliens: From Science to the Extremely Strange, and Back Again.”
Open to the campus community and the general public, this free lecture is held in room 229 of the Krasnow building. A pre-lecture reception at which refreshments will be served begins at 3:30 p.m.
The next two lectures in this series feature neuroscientists John Allman of the California Institute of Technology on Oct. 2, and Rudolfo Llinas of New York University on Oct. 16.
