Mason Shirt Donations Needed

It’s that time of year when the Planning Committee for The Preamble (Welcome Week) asks for your T-shirt donations.

Many areas around campus provide T-shirts to students, and often shirts are left over. Clean out your office space and help our new students get into the Mason spirit by providing shirts for the annual T-shirt swap.

In the past, students traded an old shirt of theirs for a new Mason shirt. The process has been changed — now only canned goods will be accepted in trade. The canned goods will be donated to a local shelter or food pantry to directly benefit families in need.

To donate your unused Mason shirts, deliver them to the Office of Student Involvement, Student Union Building II, Room 2300, by Friday, Aug. 26. Call 703-993-2909 with any questions.
