Child Development Center Begins Fund Raiser Campaign

Rather than raising funds by asking people to buy candy and wrapping paper, George Mason’s Child Development Center has begun a Painless Fundraisers 2000 campaign this fall.

Fundraisers include Campbell’s Labels for Education collection, Safeway Club Card, and

All three fundraisers are designed to keep sales pressure off the community and still help the Child Development Center raise money for educational supplies. The center is starting its third year collecting labels from Campbell’s soup products (as well as Pace salsas, Swanson broths, Pepperidge Farm products, and Franco American pastas) and redeeming them for educational/athletic equipment. The other two fundraisers are even more “painless” because no work is required from participants except filling out a form.
