This fall, GMU-TV airs a new sports talk show that tackles athletics at George Mason and beyond. The only problem is that it needs a name. The station is now accepting submissions for its “Name the Show” contest, giving the campus community a chance to add a title to the program.
Suggestions should reflect the show’s focus–George Mason and sports. All entries will be reviewed by the show’s hosts and a panel of producer and directors from GMU-TV. Suggestions will be judged for originality and appropriateness. The winner will receive a variety of prizes, including a guest appearance on the show.
The program is hosted by former director of Minority Student Affairs Mike Tapscott, associate athletic director for Aquatics and Recreational Sports Mickey McDade, senior vice president Maurice Scherrens, and Affirmative Action Planning and Compliance coordinator Ron Sinacore.
To enter, send an e-mail to email@example.com or mail your suggestion to GMU-TV, MS 1F3. Be sure to include your name, daytime and evening phone numbers, and address. All submissions are due by September 18 at 5 p.m. For more information, contact Susan Kehoe at x33108 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
