Roundtable Discussions Air on GMU-TV

Every week on GMU-TV, three roundtable discussion television programs–Mason Currents, Capital Region Roundtable, and Time Out–are shown during primetime. GMU-TV is shown on Cox Cable channel 18, Comcast (Reston) channel 18, and Comcast (Alexandria) channels 79 and 95. Following are the topics, hosts, guests, and programming schedule for each show airing this week:
- Mason Currents #5–“The Missing Majority: Women in the Media” is hosted by Susan Kehoe, Department of Instructional Improvement and Instructional Technologies director. Guests include Cindy Lont, Communication Department chair, and Junior Bridge, a faculty member in the Department of Communication. The show airs on Friday at 11:30 p.m., Saturday at 8:30 p.m., and Sunday at 8 p.m.
- Capital Region Roundtable #32–“Regulation in a Global Marketplace” is hosted by Toni-Michelle Travis, Public and International Affairs associate professor. Guests include Jeff Eisenach, Progress and Freedom Foundation president; Mark Grady, School of Law dean, and David Turetsky; Teligent senior vice president. The show airs on Thursday at 11:30 p.m., Friday at 8:30 p.m., Saturday at 9 p.m., and Sunday at 8:30 p.m.
- Time Out #3–“Is the Term ‘Redskins’ Offensive?” is hosted by Mike Tapscott, former Minority Student Affairs director. Guests include Greg Deal, Native American Student coordinator, and students John Allwine, Matt Impellitteri, and Moli Dohogne. The show airs tonight at 11:30 p.m., Friday at 8 p.m., Saturday at 9 p.m., and Sunday at 7:30 p.m.
