Spring Immigration and Human Rights Cinema Series Announced

Unity in the Community has announced the 2011 spring Immigration and Human Rights Cinema series, a joint project with the Prince William Campus.

The first film will be screened on Tuesday, Feb. 8.  All films are free and open to the public, and discussions follow each film presentation. The films are shown in the Verizon Auditorium of the Occoquan Building. Parking is available in the Occoquan lot across University Circle from the auditorium.

This spring’s films are

  • “Bullied: A Student, a School and a Case that Made History” at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 8
  • “Welcome to Shelbyville” at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 6
  • “Made in L.A.” at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 12
  • “The Minutemen” at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 8
