During finals week, students who live off campus often find the best seats in the Johnson Center are already taken when they arrive. But this week, George’s Restaurant on the third floor is open 24 hours a day as a study lounge for off-campus students only. The temporary study lounge, which served 250 students on its first day, is the brainchild of the Office of Orientation, Family Programs and Services in conjunction with other University Life units that make up the Off-Campus Advisory Board, as well as students. Along with refreshments, students are being treated to goodies such as windshield scrapers and decks of playing cards with tips for off-campus living.
