OEDS Offers Online Sexual Harassment Prevention Program

The Office of Equity and Diversity Services (OEDS) recently announced a new interactive, online training program called Preventing Sexual Harassment. The training tool provides an opportunity for employees and students to better understand what constitutes sexual harassment and remain current on sexual harassment policies and laws.
The program’s goal is to foster an environment that values diversity and promotes a culture of inclusion that extends to all members of the university community. George Mason University is committed to an environment that not only supports intellectual growth and productivity of all participants, but ensures that all within our community are free from harassment, intimidation or fear.
OEDS continues to offer a variety of training programs, including sexual harassment prevention and equal opportunity information sessions; cultural awareness, diversity, American Disabilities Act and employment workshops; as well as other training about other workplace issues.
