SACS Self-Study Releases Second Draft Report

The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) self-study in support of the reaffirmation of accreditation of George Mason University has released the second of five draft strategic reports for university review. The latest draft describes the findings and recommendations of the Research and Creativity Subcommittee, charged with developing a plan to help the university fulfill the commitment from Engaging the Future to “foster innovative research and creative activity.” The draft is available on the self-study website.
The draft report of the Internal Community Subcommittee has also been posted on the website. Reports from the Learning Subcommittee, External Community Subcommittee, and Information Technology Subcommittee will be released in early June.
