The Mason Inn Conference Center and Hotel continues to cause a stir, recently winning two awards for its design.

Mid-Atlantic Construction magazine’s Best of 2010 awards program recently named the Mason Inn Project of the Year in the Multi-Family Residential/Hospitality category. And American School & University magazine recognized the Mason Inn in its 2010 Architectural Portfolio award program in the category of Outstanding Designs: Specialized Facilities.

The complex was developed by Concord Eastridge in partnership with Balfour Beatty Construction, Gensler Architecture and Aramark Higher Education through an award under the Virginia Public Private Education Act (PPEA).

The Mason Inn includes 148 guest rooms, 20,000 square feet of technologically advanced conference space, a restaurant and a lounge. The building has met the stringent standards of the International Association of Conference Centers and is designed to the U.S. Green Building Council Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold standard of sustainability.
