The 2010 Commonwealth of Virginia Campaign (CVC) began on Oct. 1 and ends Dec. 15, 2010.

During the campaign, Mason faculty and staff members are encouraged to take a few minutes out of their busy day to learn about the vital services that nonprofit organizations are providing in our community.

The 2010 campaign theme is “Give from the Heart!”

Please consider participating in the campaign this year. Your gift, whether you are giving for the first time or increasing last year’s contribution, helps strengthen our community. One hundred percent of your designated gift goes to the charities you choose. More than 1,300 charities are included this year.

The CVC gives each person an opportunity to create a positive change in our community.

This year, you can pledge through payroll deduction or you can pledge with a check or credit card online at www.cvc.vipnet.org.

The university’s agency code is 247; you will need your state employee number in order to register to pay online.

Thank you for all that you do for our university and our community. Together we make a difference as we “Give from the Heart”!
