The Suspense Continues on Raise the Rate Contest

Although the TIAA-CREF Raise the Rate contest to spread awareness about the U.S. personal savings rate and raise it by 10 percent in the next two years has ended, the company has announced that the winners will not be revealed until Nov. 1.

For the contest, TIAA-CREF has offered a $25,000 endowment to the university that comes up with the most ideas on how to increase the personal savings rate. According to the unofficial tally at the end of the contest, Mason was in the top spot. Stay tuned for official results.
