Taris Mullins has been named director of partnership development for George Mason. His office will be located at the Prince William Campus, and his primary duties are to develop public and private partnerships between the university and businesses in Prince William County. He also will work on selected projects at the Arlington Campus and continue his work with the university’s minority advisory board.
“There is a lot of corporate development taking place in Prince William County, and we need to find ways to become closely tied to the business community,” says Randall Edwards, executive vice president. “I’m excited about the creation of this new position, and I know Mullins has the experience and connections to take us in the right direction.”
Mullins previously was director of corporate development for the George Mason University Foundation.
