Mason Hosts Strengths in Education Fall Conference

The Mason community is invited to attend the Strengths in Education Fall Conference on Sept. 16 – 17, and the Pre-Conference Educator Seminar on Sept. 15 – 16, both at the Mason Inn Conference Center and Hotel.
Co-sponsoring the events are the Gallup Organizations, MasonLeads and Mason’s Center for Consciousness and Transformation.
Both events are designed for higher education audiences and are open to faculty, student affairs professionals, academic administrators, university or student services personnel and graduate assistants.
The Strengths in Education Fall Conference will feature keynote speakers Shane J. Lopez, senior scientist in residence and architect of the Gallup Student Poll, and Tom Rath, global practice leader for Gallup. The conference is limited to 150 participants.
During the Pre-Conference Educator Seminar, participants will gain an understanding of Gallup’s strengths-based philosophy and supporting research, learn from hands-on experience with proven student activities and learn to navigate the StrengthsQuest website and its resources for students. The seminar is limited to 40 participants.
The Mason employee discounted rate is $275 for the conference. The seminar is $275. Participants can register for both programs or choose which one they want to attend.
