Summer at the Patriot Center

In addition to high school graduations in June, several concerts and events are scheduled at the Patriot Center this summer.

  • A.R. Rahman, the Indian composer who wrote the Academy Award-winning score to “Slumdog Millionaire,” brings “The Journey Home Concert” to the Patriot Center on Sunday, June 13, at 7:30 p.m. (doors open at 6:30 p.m.). Ticket prices are $500, $250, $175, $125, $75 and $45.
  • The Latin pop singer Chayanne comes to the Patriot Center on Friday, June 25, at 9 p.m. (doors open at 8 p.m.). Tickets are $101.50, $81.50 and $61.50.
  • Junior middleweight boxer Jimmy Lange brings “No Excuses” to the Patriot Center on Saturday, July 10, at 7:30 p.m. (doors open at 6:30 p.m.). Tickets are $500, $300, $200, $125, $75, $50 and $35.
  • DC Fest 2010 with headliners MercyMe, Amy Grant and Jeremy Camp also features Francesca Battistelli, Building 429, John Waller and Jonny Diaz. The event will be on Saturday, Aug. 21, at 3 p.m. (doors open at 2 p.m.). Tickets are $99, $49, $35 and $19.

Looking ahead to the fall, tickets are now on sale for the BlackDiamondSkye Tour with Alice in Chains (also featuring Deftones and Mastodon) on Sunday, Sept. 26, at 7 p.m. (doors open at 5:30 p.m.) General admission to the floor (no seats) is $59.50 or $49.50.
